Kael'thas poked in The Eye, and dies!

Kael'thas is down, the Eye has been cleared, and Tempest Keep will never be the same again. Congratulations Dream Team on being the first Alliance guild on Blade's Edge to down the girlie man formaly known as Prince Kael'thas. We hit phase 5 for the first time tonight, and on our last attempt, in classic Dream Team form, pulled off an epic win and picked up some T5 chest pieces (grats HB and Vespa!). Afterwards, we celebrated by heading into Mount Hyjal and danced with Jaina Proudmore. Black Temple, here we come!

Lady Vashj down, SSC CLEARED!

Dream Team has downed Lady Vashj and with that, cleared Serpentshrine Cavern. Tonight was a great night of execution by the team. Prior to this night, our best attempt was 47%. We'd only seen phase three 3-4 times. On our first attempt of the night we brought her to 2%. Our second attempt was a silly wipe. We hit pay dirt on our third attempt and she fell. Congratulations Dream Team on a job well done! Look out Kael'thas, your next.

Cairne Asada - Sunday Night BBQ

On our off night we decided to get our PVP on and do a little damage to the city of Thunderbluff and take out the Tauren Chief Cairne Bloodhoof. Our first attempt was short lived after being discovered but we rallied back a second time and took him down. Thanks to those in the community who joined our raid, it was a fun time. *Kill vid added 2/3/08

Coilfang Reserve Nuked

This was the scene after Dream Team annihalated 5 Serpentshrine Cavern bosses in under 3 hours. Lady Vashj was just plain luckly we ran out of time. Excellent work, Dream Team. Update: Dream Team now routinely clears SSC in under three hours as of 2/4/08!

Doom Go Boom

DT finally got around to trying Doomwalker for the first time which resulted in a one-shot on the first attempt. What a surprise. Grats Xenir and Vesoth on the hunter guns.

A'lar Extinguished

With A'lar cleared, Dream Team sits 3/4 TK & 5/6 SSC. We've come along way and yet still have a long way to go. I want to thank our loyal members who have been with us through the thick and thin, as well as our new members who have put their trust in us. The holidays are upon us and it's time we take some time off from raiding to enjoy the season and come back stronger then ever before. Lady Vashj and Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider await us.

High Astromancer Nubarian

Our first night on High Astromancer Solarian proved (surprisingly) to be a walk in the park. Our first attempt reduced her to 30%. Our second attempt proved fatal for the femme fatale. Another Alliance server first. Yea, we're keeping track.

Leotheras the Dead

Leotheras the Blind is dead. The Dream Team came in full force tonight starting with a 2% wipe, 1% wipe, and on our third attempt walked away with an alliance server first. Congratulations Dream Team, this brings us to 5 out of 6 SSC bosses cleared. Not bad for a guild that only raids progression 9 hours a week. Lady Vashj, here we come!

Karathress Conquered

After two full nights worth of attempts, the Fathom Lord bought the farm. The DPS team was always powerful from the start and once the Healing team got their strategy down, the rest was history. Props to Flexappeal for coming through with the winning healing strat that paved the way to sweet purple victory and another Alliance first for the server. Grats to Lolola and Nahzrak for earning the guilds first T5 leggings!

Tidewalker Cleared

Serpentshrine is full of challenges just begging to be overcome. Tidewalker was no exception. We spent 5 solid nights on Morogrim with frustrating wipes getting him to the low teens (11%). With a lot of core raiders out for the night, we downed him with 8 subs which is a testament to the calibre of players we have in this guild and another Alliance server first.

The Momentum continues... Void Reaver down

Dream Team continues to move at high speed with our first downing of Void Reaver. Grats to Teannah and Oceansize for receiving the guild's first Tier 5 shoulders! Morogrim Tidewalker is next.

Hydross Hydropwned

On our 2nd night of attempts, the Dream Team turned Hydross into a puddle of epics - for an Alliance server first. Great job everyone!

Finishing what we Started - Magtheridon R.I.P.

Magtheridon has been a monkey on Dream Team's back for almost two months. We made on-again off-again attempts on him during that time resulting with our best attempt at 64%. Tonight the Dream Team came back into the Lair after several weeks and broke new ground by finally overcoming a hurdle that had been tripping us up for a while now. Magtheridon is cleared. The timing was right, as we have officially put Gruul out to pasture moving him off our weekly schedule and have made Magtheridon our new Tuesday night entree'. Well done, Dream Team, well done.

Doom Lord Kazzak

Kazzak took the plunge tonight thanks to an impromptu raid pulled together by Incognitoway. All available Dream Teamers as well as pugs from other guilds (SDS and others) came together to stomp this bad boy into the ground.

Lurking in the Caverns

Tonight the Dream Team caught a whooper after a long night of attempts and a painful 5% wipe at the end of the trash respawn timer. Instead of calling it a night, we cranked it up a notch and cleared our way back to ultimately defeat The Lurker Below (an Alliance server first). Hats off to our mages who did a bang up job keeping the adds sheeped so the Team could goto town and gut the loot out of the Krakken.

Gruul Down

Gruul gave us a bit of a challenge. Every Tuesday evening for the past 3 weeks we gave him a shot after clearing Maulgar. This week we decided to come back on Wednesday to finish the job and one-shotted him on our first attempt of the night. Then it was off to celebrate by attempting Magtheridon's Lair for the first time, and ended the night by killing all 5 Hellfire Channelers then moving on to Maggy on our last attempt. It was truely a proud night for the team. Watch the Kill Video here! (78megs)

High King Dethroned

Tonight our dreams of 25man raiding finally came true as we entered Gruul's lair for the very first time. With a full raid of 25 guildies, High King Maulgar's rule was overthrown and his council of orgres were destoyed on our fourth attempt. Afterward, we played around with Gruul and on our fourth attempt got him down to 49%. We've worked hard to get to this place and it feels good. The guild is full of quality people who know how to have fun and play the game, and I'm proud to be a part of this team.

The Two Karazhan Teams Are Up and Running!

On June 19, after the realm came up from it's 18 hour maintenance, a new chapter in the history of the Dream Team was kicked off by running two Karazhan teams simultaniously. An accomplishment to be proud of considering the small size of our guild. In addition, Karazhan is now considered to be on "farm status" for the guild. Many of us have been waiting patiently for a long time for the 25man runs to start and now we are soooo close to starting we can taste it. Currently, we have two immediate openings for healers to round out our 25man team to give us enough heal power to enter Gruul's Lair and survive. In addition, we are still accepting applications for several classes (see side bar below) to help us balance out the over all class mix we are looking for to keep our progression moving foward. (Pic taken 6/20)

Karazhan Cleared

Tonight, with the downing of Nightbane, the Dream Team has officially "cleared" Karazhan of all it's challenges. Our guild has been around for three and a half months now. We are still young, still small, and we still have room for more as we continue to build our 25man raiding team. I'd like to personally thank every member of the guild for their contributions in making this guild the success that it is. Our accomplishments are a testament to the quality and the talent of every single member. I'd also like to thank the Officer team, for all their hard work and behind the scene efforts to keep this guild moving in the right direction, despite the obstacles we have faced. The future looks bright for us - let's continue to aim high and make those dreams come true.

Nightbane Down

Netherspite is dead

After downing the Prince for more T4, we took on our final Karazhan challenge and attempted Nightbane for the first time. After more wipes then we'd care to admit, the dragon fell - thus achieving a major milestone for the Dream Team by putting Karazhan on "cleared" status. After the fight we decided to celebrate by attempting the only boss left alive in the instance and one shotted Illhoof to round out the week by clearing all of Karazahan (all bosses and encounters) from start to finish in 9 hours 15 minutes (3 raid nights at 3 hours per night in one week) for quite possibly a server first

Netherspite Down

Netherspite is dead

Watch the Netherspite Kill Vid! With Netherspite down, the only boss that stands in our way of a full Karazhan clear is Nightbane. We wiped three times practicing a new strat which was perfected on our fourth attempt. The result was one dead dragon, no deaths, and everyone at full health at the end of the fight. Great work everyone! Present for the kill but not pictured: Chodakus.

Terestian be Ill'n

Illhoof goes down

Watch the Illhoof Kill Vid! Illhoof was easier than we expected. It was a fun fight, and he was even kind enough to drop a cape for Sigismund.

The Demon Formerly Known as Prince

Prince goes down

What can we say? This guy looks tough, but he went down without much trouble. He's our new T4 token vendor, and we love him for it.

Strangely enough the Infernals pushed us back by the door, even though the doors close since the patch. Maybe Prince has gotten so used to the place that he just doesn't feel right not dying over there.

You Had it Coming Aran

Aran gets what was coming to him

Aran, the boss we all love to hate finally went down tonight. Maybe it was the patch, or maybe we're just that good - who really cares? That guy really just needed to die.

Romulo and Julianne

Romulo and Julianne

What a night for the Dream Team. Four bosses in 3 1/2 hours. Attumen, Moroes, then off to the Opera. After a wipe to determine the Opera event, we downed Romulo & Julianne on the next attempt for a guild first - thus completing the Opera trilogy. Curator was next in our sights and we downed him first try (2nd time ever). Everyone worked hard and did an excellent job! Grats to Zaharah on her T4 gloves!

Checkmate!

Chess Event

We had a blast doing our first chess event. Everyone really enjoyed it and it was a nice way to end the evening. Even the loot was claimed.

Curator Downed

Curator downed

Capitalizing on our momentum from the previous night, we downed the Curator for the first time on our 2nd attempt of the evening and made our way to Aran. Myth was the lucky recipient of the guild's first T4. We gave Aran two attempts ending at 72% before we moved on to the Chess event due to time constraints. A special shout out to Slackjaw who joined the guild today and on his first ever Karazhan run was able to partake in our festivities.

We're Not in Kansas Anymore

Oz Opera Event

After a slow start this week, we regained our momentum and downed Attuman, Moroes, and for the first time, the Oz encounter. A good night for the Team. Next stop, the Curator, and getting past our previous attempt which left him at 16%.

Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?

Big Bad Wolf

The Big Bad Wolf fell for the first time on our 2nd ever guild attempt. Talk about easy mode after facing The Wizard of Oz and Romulo and Julianne on previous weeks. We moved on to the Curator and got him down to 43% on our 2nd attempt before calling it a night.

We've Gone and Made a Mess

Moroes Downed

Our second night on Moroes was all it took. Unfortunately the loot wasn't worth the effort and was sharded, but the satisfaction of taking him down was very sweet.

Amazon Hellcat From Beyond the Grave

Maiden of Virtue

On our fourth night into Karazhan, the Dream Team confirmed the ugly rumor that the Maiden of Virtue indeed does not wear panties.

And It Begins!

Attumen the Huntsman

Our first kill as a newly formed raiding guild was Attumen the Huntsman. Though our guild's first kill was on the 13th, our fearless guild leader Myth sacrificed a chicken later that night, thereby ensuring our continued success.
